Men’s ministry

Here at the Dunamis SDA church, the foundation of the Dunamite Men’s Ministry, is the love of God that constrains us. We accept our humanity, our gender, our call to be priest in our households, and our brother’s keeper. In every role to which God calls us, we desire to minister in the spirit and the love of Jesus Christ. As beloved apostles, we seek to be humble men who “…would not diminish their influence but increase it, for the minds of their hearers would be carried from them to the Saviour, who, though unseen, was still working with them.  AA 22.3”

We believe that the church has one foundation, that is, Jesus Christ. Therefore, we strive to be informed in works that testify that we “…accounted the souls of men of higher value than earthly wealth. AA 70.3 “This we do by sacrifice of our time, talent and finances, that the glory of God will be seen by all who acknowledge Christ in us the hope of glory”.

The inspired prophet of God directs us to see that:

“The greatest want of the world is the want of men, men who will not be bought or sold; men who in their inmost souls are true and honest; men who do not fear to call sin by its right name; men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole; men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall.” Education, 57 (1903). CM 54.3 – CM 54.4. In this regard, we trust in the will of God our Father and Jesus Christ His Son, to be lights to our wives, children, the fatherless, widows, prisoners and free, friends, loved ones, and the world at large.
